Illinois Veterans for Change
Illinois Veterans for Change is a statewide political action committee composed of Democratic veterans committed to expanding veteran representation in elected office across Illinois. The organization builds community through networking events, strengthens capacity by funding and training veteran candidates, and amplifies veteran voices to defend democracy and promote progressive leadership. Veterans must be represented at every level of government: U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Statewide Office, Illinois General Assembly, and Local offices.
Run for Something
Amanda Litman and Ross Morales Rocketto launched Run for Something (RFS) in January 2017 with a simple premise: to help young, diverse progressives run for state and local offices in order to build a bench for the future. RFS aims to lower the barriers to entry for these candidates by helping them with organization building, connecting them with a robust community, and providing access to the trainings they need to be successful.

Progressives for Democracy in America (P4DA) is a 501c4 non-profit dedicated to year-round issue advocacy, voter registration, and increasing civic engagement through its local chapters.

Gun Sense Candidate Distinction
The Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate program is meant to signal to our ten million supporters, volunteers, and gun safety voters across the country that, if elected, a candidate will govern with gun safety in mind. Those awarded the distinction have demonstrated that they will support stronger gun laws and advocate for safer communities if elected into office.
